Early Sketch Models

Proof of Concept
The set up box concept was an exciting achievement! But the dice drop hole was very small, and the structure was unstable, often tipping over during use.
Concept Refinement
A New Box
Shifting to a pizza style box gave the structure more stability.
Paper or Plastic?
Paper allowed for a seamless printed graphic, but the plastic design won out for being lower cost and more stable.
Theme Development: Dice and Slice
Dots and Plots Dice and Slice
A pizza theme was chosen because it fit well with the portioning actions of the game.
Game development leaned into the theme, using pizza toppings for a new game mechanic.
Dice colors were selected to give them the appearance of pepperoni pizza

A gemstone theme was chosen because it fit well with the set making actions of the game.
